What is the difference between your cords?

2mm Polyester (polypropylene) Cord – Braided, lightweight and water-resistant; great for crochet bags, placemats and rugs.
2mm Sparkle Cord – The same braided cord with a woven-in metallic thread for a soft shimmer.
2mm Cotton Tube Cord – Hollow-knitted recycled cotton; soft and breathable for bags, baskets and hats.
3mm Twisted Cotton Macrame – Single-strand recycled cotton that brushes out into lush fringe; ideal for wall hangings and plant hangers.
Baby Soft Recycled Yarn – A fine recycled cotton yarn for amigurumi, baby knits and punch needle.
Cotton Baker's Twine – Striped recycled cotton twine for gift wrapping and packaging.

Which hook size should I use?

For 2mm polyester cord, a 3.5–5.5 mm hook works well. For 2mm sparkle cord, use a 3–4 mm hook. For Baby Soft yarn, use a 2–2.5 mm hook or 2.5–3.5 mm knitting needles.

How do I stop the ends from fraying?

Polypropylene and sparkle cords can be heat-sealed: carefully melt the tips with a lighter or heat tool. Cotton cords can be finished with a small knot or a dab of fabric glue.

Will colors match between orders?

We check every batch for consistent color, but recycled cotton can vary slightly between batches. For large projects, we recommend ordering all the cord you need at once.

How do I care for finished pieces?

Wipe polypropylene and sparkle pieces with a damp cloth. Hand wash cotton pieces and Baby Soft yarn in lukewarm water (30 °C / 86 °F) and lay flat to dry.
